As a mother of four, I know that we all value our children and share a common commitment to an excellent education.  Our school district has great students, teachers and administrators. However, we can make it even better. Let’s continue to increase accountability for administrators, teachers and parents.  Let’s continue to demand high standards and make sure that our children are prepared for college or the work force. Let’s continue to get our parents involved in the classroom.

As your current Governing Board member for the San Gabriel Unified School District (SGUSD), I will actively persevere in making our schools better. I am a determined, results oriented, responsive and fair-minded advocate for children, who will spend time and energy improving our schools. I have strong decision making abilities, financial/administrative experience and have taken initiative and assumed leadership in bringing successful changes to our District.

With three children currently attending SGUSD’s high school, middle school and elementary school, and a college student who completed her K-12 education in our District,  I have a past, present and future vested interest.  I share your dreams for the best educational opportunities for our children.
