Here’s how we are maintaining our standard of community safety:

• A 4.87-minute fire response time and a new Engine 51 we saved for years to buy

• Our firefighters answered 12 major wildfires, including the Palisades and Eaton fires — while keeping full staffing at home

• Strengthened our police department with competitive salaries to retain our officers

• Over $600,000 in police grants for traffic safety, not a dollar of it out of our general fund

• A federal grant from Congresswoman Judy Chu to modernize our Emergency Operations Center

And when someone's in crisis, we send the right responder. Our officers work alongside mental health and outreach professionals, because a patrol car can't solve every problem.
